  • 60 million liters of total rehabilitated capacity in strategic water-storage facilities.
  • Major Structures: Capability to construct walls with base widths of up to 50 m.
  • Geographic Reach: Technical project experience in Bolívar, Cojedes, Aragua, Nueva Esparta, Miranda and the Districto Capital.

Our Commitment to Technical Excellence and Structural Safety

At CLEST, C.A., our experience is built on the rigorous application of international standards and advanced diagnostic protocols to support the integrity and long-term performance of each infrastructure project.

International Codes and Standards

We develop our projects in accordance with recognized international codes and standards, providing engineering solutions that address design, durability and seismic-safety requirements:

  • ACI Standards (American Concrete Institute): We apply requirements for structural concrete (ACI 318S-14), seismic design of tanks (ACI 350-06), and specialized guidance on durability and corrosion protection.
  • ASTM Standards (ASTM International): We apply standardized test methods for material quality control and electrochemical evaluation of structures.
  • COVENIN Standards: We apply the analysis, design and minimum-load criteria established for reinforced-concrete buildings and steel structures.

Diagnostic and Safety Protocols

To assess the operational safety of existing structures, we implement comprehensive diagnostic protocols organized into strategic phases:

  1. Preliminary and Geotechnical Assessment: Specialized visual inspections and seismic-refraction surveys to evaluate soil-structure interaction.
  2. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Use of advanced techniques such as rebound-hammer testing and reinforcement scanning with Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) to assess integrity without damaging the structure.
  3. Analytical and Chemical Assessment: Concrete core extraction to verify compressive strength, together with laboratory chemical testing for chlorides, pH and carbonation to assess remaining service life.
  4. Rehabilitation Engineering: Each assessment concludes with a risk-level report and a project-specific intervention design for preventive maintenance and structural strengthening.
